CABEI presentes donation to Teletón in Nicaragua
CABEI shows its solidarity with the Nicaraguan people by donating US$10,000 to Fundación Teletón.
Nicaragua.- The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) joined Nicaraguan citizens and companies to help the annual Teletón surpass its goal for 2011 in Nicaragua. The Bank provided a donation of US$10,000.00, thereby contributing to improving the quality of life of hundreds of disabled children in the country.
The presentation of the donation to Fundación Teletón was made by CABEI’s Director for Nicaragua, Dr. Silvio Conrado, who, on behalf of the Bank and its collaborators, joined the charitable celebration, presenting a cash donation.
This is one of the ways that CABEI, in accordance with its Institutional Strategy and as part of its Institutional Responsibility Plan, targets its efforts at improving the quality of life of Central American citizens.
Fundación Teletón will use the CABEI donation to develop a Project called "Equipment of the Hydrotherapy Area of the Central District Regional Rehabilitation and Early Education Center for children, adolescents and young people with defects and/or handicaps and their families."
