CABEI, IDB and WB inaugurate procurement workshop

40 procurement specialists from executing organizations of the Government of Honduras participated.

Tegucigalpa, November 18, 2019.- Officials of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the World Bank (WB) held the “Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) Procurement Workshop.”

The team of experts together with public officials designed a training plan to be developed in 2020, which incorporates answers to the frequent problems involved in procurement process management and the specific needs of the executing organizations.

In addition, at the workshop specific queries were answered in order to ensure that the projects financed by MDBs have an approved procurement standpoint.

The workshop was attended by a total of 40 public officials, who asked questions about specific issues that frequently arise in procurement processes.

With these actions, the three multilateral banks support the executing organizations in the execution of operations with the aim of having an improved and efficient impact on the country's development objectives.
