CABEI celebrated work of the Honduran press

During the meeting, the Executive Vice President of CABEI, attorney Alejandro Rodríguez Zamora, thanked the collaboration of professionals for the dissemination of all the interventions of CABEI for the development of the region.

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) made a feast to the Honduran press, in commemoration of the Day of the journalist.

The Executive Vice President of CABEI, attorney Alejandro Rodriguez Zamora, presided over a breakfast that is offered to social communicators, photographers and cameramen from the written press, radio, television and digital media of the country.

In the encounter, the Vice President of CABEI, attorney Alejandro Rodriguez, gave the welcome speech and recognized the important work of journalists and their contribution to the formation of a more equitable society, values that also adhere to the mission of CABEI.During his speech, the officer of the multilateral body announced that for the period 2010-2013, CABEI has disbursed a total of US$ 5,405.12 million to the region, of which US$ 1.069 million have been channeled to projects in infrastructure, energy, social development and strengthening of the nation's banking system.

He also noted that as of April 30th this year CABEI maintains a current total of 102 operations in Honduras, with a portfolio balance of US$1.214 million.Finally, he especially thanked journalists who daily work in outreach activities to promote integration and social development of Central America, in which the Bank invests its efforts.

The honorees enjoyed a rich menu and the joy of raffle prizes and surprises that included a digital camera, a home theater, an iPad mini, a 42 inch LED TV, among others.
