CABEI launches its first ideathon within the framework of the "Transparency and Information Access Month"


This is a contest of ideas open to citizens to strengthen transparency and information access through innovation.

Tegucigalpa, August 16, 2022. In order to receive innovative ideas, solutions and actions to strengthen transparency, openness and accountability, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), as part of the Relationship Plan within the framework of the Information Access Policy (PAI), presents #IdeathonPAI.

The call is aimed at the scientific community, universities, professionals and experts in information access and transparency, and other interested persons interested in sharing their experience, knowledge and ideas.

CABEI's Executive President, Dr. Dante Mossi, stated that "through this contest we want to enhance the impact of the PAI with interested parties and listen to the ideas of different civil society actors on how we can maximize information access and transparency."

CABEI's Director for Argentina and Colombia and President of the Information Acsess Committee, Maximiliano Alonso, stated: "The PAI Ideathon is part of a series of actions that we are promoting within the framework of the Information Access Policy to implement improvements. Our approach is to place the users of the Policy  at the center in order to build best practices and instruments for information access and accountability."

To participate in the competition, the terms and conditions must be known and the proposal must be submitted through a web form that aims to collect contact information and key elements of the proposal.
