CABEI holds Open House to strengthen access to information and transparency and invites the public to register.

The activity will be held in virtual mode on September 7th and 8th, 2022.

Tegucigalpa, August 10, 2022.- As part of CABEI's Transparency and Access to Information Month, a virtual event will be held to inform civil society about the Bank's procedures, competencies, responsibilities and the way it works. The event will also provide a space for dialogue to strengthen the application of the Information Access Policy.

"CABEI Open House" is aimed at the general public, civil society organizations, universities and institutions specializing in access to information, open data and transparency that are interested in learning about the institution's operations. In order to participate, a registration form must be completed.

The event's agenda includes the participation of CABEI Executive President Dante Mossi; Maximiliano Alonso, President of the Information Access Committee and CABEI Director for Argentina and Colombia; and senior officials from the Bank's departments responsible for the institution's operations and activities.

CABEI Executive President Dante Mossi said, "CABEI Open House is an opportunity to listen to the different external stakeholders and, at the same time, strengthen the Bank's mechanisms for openness, transparency and accountability," adding that "we seek to promote trust based on tools that maximize access to information."

For his part, Maximiliano Alonso, President of the Information Access Committee and CABEI's Director for Argentina and Colombia, stated that "we are taking on the challenge of strengthening the Bank's institutional framework by optimizing its governance in the management, decision-making, and monitoring processes of our work."

The topics to be addressed will focus on the Board of Directors' work, the institution's governance, the operations cycle and the Bank's accountability mechanisms, among others.
