CABEI participates in Third Central American Forum on Finance and Investment

CABEI highlights the importance of supporting initiatives aimed at promoting the integration of markets and the dissemination of best practices and international standards.

Tegucigalpa, June 02, 2017. - The Financial Manager of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), Mr. Hernán Alvarado, participated in the Third Central American Forum on Finance and Investment, where he highlighted the importance of promoting the development and integration of capital markets, as well as disseminating best international practices in the field to ensure the growth of the region’s economy.

During his speech, Mr. Alvarado explained that the continuous improvement of CABEI’s risk rating has enabled it to consolidate its leadership position as a channeler of resources to the region by expanding its base of global investors and diversifying its financing sources through uninterrupted access to capital markets with competitive funding costs.

The annual forum organized by LatinFinance seeks to bring together leading government officials, corporations, banks and pension funds throughout the region along with local and international investors for a day of high-level discussions on capital markets.
