CABEI contributes to the wellbeing of Central Americans by strengthening health systems

Investment in health is synonymous with development and competitiveness for countries, since their populations can safeguard their well-being through efficient and quality systems. This was even more evident in the last two years in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, which represented a global and regional challenge.

For this reason, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) contributes to the efforts of its member countries to improve the quality of their health systems by financing investments in the construction and expansion of hospitals and clinics, as well as providing technical assistance and donating medical equipment and supplies.
