Workshop held for members of PROMIPYME Centers
During a successful workshop, 16 MSME centers and 5 entrepreneurship centers learned about the DINAMICA Initiative.
Guatemala, May 15, 2017. - The DINAMICA Initiative and the Guatemalan Ministry of Economy, through its Vice Ministry of MSMEs, coordinated an interesting workshop to learn about the DINAMICA Initiative in order to promote its numerous mechanisms that facilitate adequate access to financial services for entrepreneurs.
DINAMICA Manager, María Gabriela García explained that the initiative, which is especially designed for the promotion of entrepreneurship, innovation and responsible financing, seeks to boost and diversify the economies of the countries of the region through employment generation.
According to the CABEI specialist, DINAMICA has EUR50 million in financing from the German KfW Development Bank and CABEI; the funds will be channeled through the Bank’s regional network of intermediary financial institutions (IFIs). The DINAMICA initiative also has EUR3.8 million in technical assistance funds from the European Union, through its Latin American Investment Facility (LAIF).
DINAMICA is an initiative executed by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) with financial cooperation from Germany, through its KfW Development Bank, and the European Union, through its Latin American Investment Facility (LAIF).
