Successful training for Gorgas Campus Project Executing Unit
Closing ceremony and delivery of certificates held for CABEI training workshop in Panama.
Panama City, April 7, 2019.- With the objective of strengthening business and trade opportunities in the region, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) carried out a training plan on political and regulatory procurement in the Central American region for the executing unit of the Gorgas Campus project.
It is expected that the project will have an important impact for Panama through its contribution to the improvement of health conditions, productivity and quality of life of its population and a reduction in health costs for the country.
On this occasion, CABEI's Procurement Unit was in charge of transmitting knowledge, methodologies and technology to officials from the executing units of the Gorgas Memorial Institute of Tropical and Preventive Medicine and the Panamanian Ministry of Economy and Finance.
During the workshop, participants heard talks on the Policy for the Procurement of Goods, Works, Services and Consultancies, in addition to learning about the CABEI website, which is where the notices for tenders and national and international contests that are carried out in the framework of the financed projects are published.
