New CABEI Director for Guatemala
The government of Guatemala has appointed Mr. Oscar Humberto Pineda Robles as its new Director at CABEI.
The renowned professional is an attorney and notary specializing in financial matters, and his resume details his extensive experience in public administration. Attorney Pineda Robles has served as Vice Minister of Finance, Minister of Economy and President of the Central Bank of Guatemala and Monetary Board.
He was born in Guatemala City and has over 35 years' experience in the legal practice. He has extensive banking experience and has worked in different positions, including as Director of the National Bank for Agricultural Develooment, Chairman of the Board of Directiors of Banco Nacional de la Vivienda and as President of the Monetary Board, among others.
He has also perfomed noteworth work in public service, including his positions as President of the National Council of Export Promotion, Director of the National Institute of Agricultural Marketing and Director of the Securities Commission.
The new CABEI Director for Guatemala replaces Mr. Erick Coyoy, who will complete his three year term on November 15, 2012.
Attorney Pineda will start his three year term on November 16, 2012 pursuant to resolution Fundadores Número-2/2012, wich went into effect last August 15.
