Leaders of CABEI receive annual ethics training

Tegucigalpa, Honduras. December 01, 2023. - The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) reaffirms its commitment to ethics by providing annual training to the Board of Directors and leaders of the Bank. This year, the "High-Level Ethics" conference was held with the aim of offering a clear approach to the leader's responsibility in the success of ethical management and the mitigation of ethical risks.

The training event was conducted by Lawyer Néstor Aparicio, General Director of the World Compliance Association (WCA), who contributed his extensive experience and knowledge in the field of ethics. Crucial topics were addressed during the training to enhance the understanding and commitment of CABEI leaders in ethical management and responsible decision-making.

In his welcome message, Erwen Masis, the Director for Costa Rica and Alternate President of the Ethics Committee at the Bank, invited those present to lead their teams in harmony with the institution's values, principles, and Code of Ethics.

This initiative was carried out under the coordination of Ana Carolina González, Ethics Officer, who expressed that ethics is a shared commitment. Involving the leaders of the teams that make up the Bank strengthens the ethical culture and promotes a positive work environment based on values.

CABEI reaffirms its commitment to respect, equity, loyalty, transparency, and integrity, as well as compliance with the highest ethical standards to promote the sustainable development of the region.
