Promoting women's empowerment, CABEI Supports Vital Voices' Crecemujer Congress in El Salvador
San Salvador, October 26th, 2023 - The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), committed to gender equality and the empowerment of women, who play a fundamental role in the Bank's programs and financing, supported the XI Crecemujer Congress: The Woman Factor in Economic Development.
The activity was recently held in San Salvador with the participation of more than 400 women and also brought together women leaders who, through presentations, motivated and promoted knowledge, innovation and the exchange of successful experiences in order to break paradigms and challenges.
In addition, CABEI's Non-Sovereign and Private Sector Management (GEPRI) participated in the panel, "Best Practices: Institutional initiatives and corporate policies promoting equity, personal experiences on the importance of investing in women".
Among the topics discussed were tools for the personal, professional and business empowerment of women, the benefits of investing in the development of women and business growth in finance, strategy, marketing and digital tools, among others.
CABEI's support for this important activity reiterates its commitment to contribute to the region's sustainable development through its cross-cutting gender equity axis, which focuses on the development of projects and programs that favor equal opportunities and economic and social conditions for the empowerment of women.
