With the support of the EU, the Government of Germany (through its KfW Development Bank) and CABEI, the DINAMICA Initiative supported the “IV Entrepreneurial Linkage Promotion Meeting".

San Miguel, October 24, 2019-. The Center for the Development of Micro and Small Businesses (CDMYPE) of Universidad de Oriente (UNIVO) held the fourth edition of the event denominated, "Entrepreneurial Linkage Meeting," which promotes the creation of synergies and supplier networks, as well as business-knowledge exchange in El Salvador.

The DINAMINA Initiative contributed to the activities that were carried out during the meeting by providing technical assistance to help strengthen the MSMEs. At the event, a presentation was made of 10 enterprises from different economic sectors that have been beneficiaries of the project's Technology and Business Transfer component.

Representatives of entrepreneurs and large companies from the country's different productive sectors and the 20 municipalities of the department of San Miguel participated in the event. The participants attended business conferences where public and private UACIS units received proposals from the various SMEs attended by the CDMYPE.

Other noteworthy event activities included a business fair to market different economic products and services, which provided significant knowledge about employment supply and demand and offered financial products and consultancies to entrepreneurs and micro and small companies.

It should be noted that as the executing agency of the Initiative for the Development of Business Ideas and Acceleration of Central American MSMEs (DINAMICA), CABEI signed a non-reimbursable technical cooperation agreement for an amount of up to US$87,500.00 with UNIVO for Technology and Business Transfer to 10 MSMEs attended by the UNIVO Entrepreneurship Center.

Furthermore, the technical assistance was co-financed with resources from the European Union, through its Latin American Investment Facility (LAIF), which has donated technical assistance resources to promote the development of new, young and/or innovative MSMEs.
