DINAMICA Initiative supports responsible finance training for entrepreneurs affiliated to Banco Promerica

Guatemala, May 02, 2017. - Banco Promerica Guatemala received US$100 thousand dollars through a non-reimbursable technical cooperation agreement that aims to support the project, "My Dream, My Enterprise." The amount was approved through the Initiative for the Development of Business Ideas and Acceleration of Central American MSMEs (DINAMICA), which is executed by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI).

The project "My Dream, My Enterprise," seeks to promote responsible financing among Banco Promerica's business clients, providing them with the necessary tools to manage their finances adequately and enabling them to create and develop new companies and products.

The tools provided by the project are as follows:

•Responsible Finance Training: The course is taught by experts in the field, as well as guest clients, who share their experiences and success stories. 

•Finance University Portal: A website that offers responsible finance courses to clients through webinars (online seminars).

•Financial Education Manual: The manual will be provided to all clients and includes basic financial issues to ensure proper resource management.

With these tools, Banco Promerica will be able to offer improved counseling to its clients, allowing them to more effectively decide on what financial products they can use, pursuant to their specific needs. In addition, clients will be able to efficiently manage their treasury and resources and achieve better long-term results.

The project, “My Dream, My Enterprise,” is focused on providing its current and future clients with solid financial bases. Banco Promerica seeks to provide its business clients with the capacity to create and develop new companies and products in order to generate employment sources that will give a new dynamic impulse to new companies in the country.
