CABEI renews global credit line with BANPRO

Managua, September 7, 2016. - The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) approved the renewal of a global credit line amounting to the Banco de la Producción S.A. (BANPRO).

Through this operation, CABEI expects to strengthen the supply of credit and other financial services aimed at supporting projects that fall within the framework of any intermediated credit programs targeting Nicaraguan microenterprises.

With regard to the CABEI Institutional Strategy, this operation falls in the framework of such focus areas as Financial Intermediation and Development Finance, as well as Human Development and Social Infrastructure.
