CABEI committed to improving social housing in the region

Tegucigalpa, September 17, 2015. - For the fourth consecutive year the Honduran Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility (FUNDAHRSE) has presented the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) with its “corporate social responsibility seal,” as a result of the Bank’s commitment to the region’s sustainable development.

CABEI is the financial arm of the integration process and the main provider of financial resources for Central American development. Through its Institutional Responsibility Plan, CABEI seeks to strengthen its socially responsible policies, procedures and practices in order to achieve a positive impact on economic, environmental and social aspects both inside and outside the Institution; this has been carried out by managing its decisions and operations in Central America with ethics and responsibility. To that end, it bases its actions on international norms, hand in hand with strong ethical values and its institutional values as it relates with interested parties.

This distinction certifies that CABEI successfully complies with the basic principles of excellence, including ethics, continuous improvement, a zeal for innovation, social responsibility and the confidence of its stakeholders.
