CABEI and PARLACEN strengthen relationship to streamline Central America’s integration and development

Both CABEI and PARLACEN are committed to promote the integration and development process of Central America.

 

Tegucigalpa, February 9, 2016. - At a meeting held today, the Executive President of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), Dr. Nick Rischbieth, and the President of the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN), Mrs. Priscilla Weeden de Miró, expressed their desire to strengthen Central America’s integration and development agenda.

During the meeting, they exchanged views regarding the will to continue deepening cooperation in order to strengthen and support the implementation of development initiatives. In addition, they discussed regional and international issues, including gender equity and migration.

Mrs. Priscilla Weeden de Miró was accompanied by the Vice President of the PARLACEN Board of Directors for Guatemala, Mr. Jaime Roberto Martínez; Secretary of the PARLACEN Board of Directors for Panama, Mr. Gilberto Manuel Succari; and Honduran Congressman and President of the Macroeconomics and Finance Commission, Mr. Bill O’neill Santos.
