CABEI participates in international events on insurance and financial development in London

Tegucigalpa, February 29, de 2024.- As part of a tour of London, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) participated in the DevFins 2024 event, organized by the Texel firm.

DevFins 2024, titled “A Comprehensive Look at Insurance Risk Transfer Solutions for Development Financial Institutions,” brought together representatives from development banks and entities that support them to offer insurance solutions. The event included round tables in which various aspects related to insurance risk and its transfer were discussed.

The Nature Conservancy's presentation stood out, where a guarantee case implemented in Belize was presented, which has been beneficial by contributing to the reduction of the loan interest rate.

Subsequently, CABEI continued its participation in international events in London by attending ExCred International, organized by Informa Connect, considered one of the reference seminars with regard to securing global trade and investment and in which representatives of the main multilateral development banks also participated.
