It is important for the entity to train and sensitize the entire organization on ethical culture, compliance and best practices.

Tegucigalpa January 21, 2021.- The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), participated in the Ibero-American Compliance Meeting 2021 (ECI 2021) Anti-Corruption, Ethics and Integrity, with a social purpose, under the slogan: "Be the change you want to see in the world".

CABEI's intervention took the form of a conference entitled "Compliance Culture and Business Ethics" from the perspective of international organizations. The presentation included the knowledge and best practices of the ethical culture developed at the Bank.

CABEI's Executive President, Dr. Dante Mossi, emphasized that for the Bank, participating in this type of conference on ethics and compliance issues allows it to share its commitments, actions and achievements to date, as well as the actions planned for the short and medium term, while communicating with member countries and, above all, with the community that benefits from the institution's initiatives.

All of this was fostered by the Board of Directors and senior management in their quest to transmit an ethical culture and to highlight CABEI, not only in its economic sphere, but also in its integral approach to ethics, values and principles, especially in the difficult times caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The institution's Ethics Officer, Mr. Ricardo Arriga, participated in this event together with other public and private sector entities, universities and international organizations from Latin America, who shared their experiences in the implementation and development of ethics and compliance systems.
