CABEI is part of the Spain-Guatemala Business Encounter

Madrid, February 23 2024.- As the bridge of opportunities for the countries of the Central American region and the world, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), participated today in the Spain-Guatemala Business Ecounter during the visit to Spain of the President of the Republic of Guatemala, Mr. Bernardo Arévalo.

The event was organized by the Secretary of State for Commerce, through ICEX-Export and Investment, the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations, and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, and consisted of promoting economic and business relations between both countries and evaluating avenues for collaboration joint ventures in areas of mutual benefit.

CABEI had a notable presence at the event where it highlighted its continued commitment to Central American development and economic integration. During the meeting, representatives of the Bank participated in the meeting where investment, financing, and cooperation opportunities in various strategic sectors were explored.

During the session, the Minister of Economy of Guatemala, Gabriela García, highlighted the importance of promoting foreign direct investment and bilateral trade between both nations.

CABEI reiterates its willingness to continue with its member countries in promoting initiatives that promote economic growth and social well-being in the region.
