"Science and technology are important pillars for society, since it is through them that large-scale projects are developed. CABEI continues to accompany our extra-regional partner country in initiatives that enable the exchange of experiences and best practices in innovation between Argentina and Central America," highlighted CABEI Executive President, Dr. Dante Mossi.
CABEI Director for Argentina and Colombia, Maximiliano Alonso, said: "As a historical reference in these matters, Argentina seeks to continue cooperating and developing more and better programs that provide growth opportunities for the people and the region, and CABEI is a strategic ally to fulfill this purpose.”
This initiative seeks to strengthen Argentina's National Innovation System through the allocation and transfer of non-reimbursable resources to institutions and professionals in this sector to carry out projects, as well as the creation of international cooperation networks with Central America through the granting of scholarships to Central American students, who will be able to study biotechnology, sustainable use of biodiversity and technologies for social inclusion, among others, in Argentina.
