CABEI reinforces its commitment to promote regional educational integration during International Congress of Public Universities of Argentina
During the event, held between June 30 and July 1, the importance that international financial organizations have in achieving regional integration among the educational community was highlighted.
Buenos Aires, July 1st, 2022.- In order to promote an agenda for innovation, cultural integration and interaction in higher education, the International Congress of Public Universities “CIUP 2022” was held this week in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, where the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) participated as a key player in achieving this objective.
"We highlight this important initiative aimed at the education sector, which is key to improving the country's competitiveness and which, as CABEI, we also support through the financing of the Educational Access and Quality Improvement Program in the province of Jujuy, which seeks to expand educational coverage and increase student permanence at all levels, later enabling their insertion into universities," said CABEI Executive President Dr. Dante Mossi.
For his part, CABEI's Director for Argentina and Colombia, Dr. Maximiliano Alonso, said, "at CABEI, we consider it fundamental to support initiatives focused on the young population and the generation of opportunities; improving the educational quality is key to training the professionals of the future and we will continue to support the authorities in this task.”
During the event organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Argentina, the National University of Córdoba and the National Inter-University Council of Argentina, CABEI Executive Vice President Jaime Díaz also participated on behalf of CABEI, highlighting the Bank's key alliance to promote actions within the framework of the Human Development and Social Inclusion axis of its 2020-2024 Institutional Strategy.
