In 2022, the Bank demonstrated superior performance by focusing on expansion, relevance and sustainability, leading to exceptional results, and continuing to influence the integration, balanced economic and social development of the Central American region. Advancing in the consolidation of our non regional presence based on a clear expansion path is a strategic step we have taken to expand relationships that encourage investment in our region. For this reason, after a year in operation, we had the opportunity to visit and hold the symbolic inauguration of our office in the Republic of China (Taiwan).

Additionally, we inaugurated CABEI´s representative offices in Korea, Nicaragua and Argentina, the latter with the objective of strengthening commercial relations with the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR) and supporting a country with a broad portfolio of social projects.
