Statistic Yearbook 2021

The “Statistical Yearbook” collects a set of macroeconomic, demographic and social statistics in order to present the region’s performance of Central America in the recent past. The information presented comes, in most cases, from publications of the official statistics of each country and organizations belonging to the Central American Integration System. This edition was compiled by the Office of the Chief Economist of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration, under the leadership of Dr. Florencia Castro-Leal (Chief Economist) and its compilation was in charge of Miguel Ángel Medina Fonseca (Economist), Carmen Elisa Méndez (Junior Economist), and Fátima Velásquez (Junior Economist). The review of the document was carried out by Armando E. Navarrete (Principal Economist).
