This publication is part of the institutional research agenda of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI). The analyses are developed by the Office of the Chief Economist and external consultants with the aim of providing information for decision-making by the Bank's authorities and to add coherence to the bank's strategic contributions, business model and it's impact-approach to development. Additionally, this knowledge contributes to the creation of criteria in economic aspects whose study and understanding are relevant to the integration and balanced development of the Central American region.
