As the Development Bank of Costa Rica, CABEI reaffirms its commitment to the new government

The Executive President of the multilateral, Dr. Dante Mossi, participated in the presidential handover on Sunday.

 

San José, May 9th, 2022.- Fulfilling its role of accompanying the authorities of its member countries, this Sunday the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) was part of the presidential handover ceremony in Costa Rica, reinforcing its commitment to support initiatives that improve the country's competitiveness and the quality of life of its inhabitants.

The activity, in which the Executive President of the multilateral organization, Dr. Dante Mossi, participated as head of mission, took place in the new facilities of the Congress in San José with cultural events and the participation of official delegations from different countries such as Spain, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Dominican Republic, Panama, Curacao, among others.

"The Republic of Costa Rica is a founding member of CABEI, and in its nearly 62 years of history we have supported it in the development of multiple initiatives that today make tangible results such as quality highways, almost 100% renewable energy sources, first-class hospitals, among many others that we are sure we will carry forward with the new authorities," said CABEI Executive President, Dr. Dante Mossi.

 Currently, CABEI in Costa Rica is executing sovereign, non-sovereign and private sector projects and cooperation projects in an active portfolio of more than US$1.1 billion in key sectors such as health, with the construction and equipping of new hospitals; road infrastructure, such as the five functional units of Circunvalación Norte; water and sanitation with investments throughout the country; as well as support and economic reactivation of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), among others.
