At the forum, CABEI informed about investment opportunities in the region.

San José, June 28, 2019.- Today, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) participated in the International Forum of Issuers of the Securities Markets of the Americas (FIMVA) with a dissertation on the relevance of CABEI in the development of high impact projects in the Central American region.

CABEI was represented by its Costa Rica Country Manager, Mauricio Chacón, in a space of analysis and reflection where he informed about the Bank's contributions on infrastructure development in the different countries and about the financial tools available to the different actors in the development of this type of projects.

Among other aspects, Mr. Chacón addressed the interest of CABEI to facilitate the participation of the local and regional private sector in the development of these projects and the possibility that the projects may be carried out with alternative funding mechanisms and public private alliances, among others, in which regional capital market can play a very important role in channeling resources.

The Forum is an event aimed at providing a space to visualize the opportunities offered by each market and promoting the international diversification of portfolios in order to manage a model of regional integration focused on the creation of reliable processes for cross-border custody, negotiation, compensation and liquidation.
