Virtual entrepreneurship and innovation fairs held in Costa Rica with CABEI support

In addition to learning about business idea proposals, fair attendees will be able to participate in talks on entrepreneurship and innovation by means of social media networks, raffles from sponsoring companies and recreational activities.

Tegucigalpa, July 06, 2020.- From July 6 to 10, the business idea fairs denominated "Expoinnova" and "Generation E 2020" will be held. The events were organized by the Business Administration major at Universidad de Costa Rica.

This year as a result of the COVID-19 situation, the Expoinnova and Generation E fairs will be held by means of technological platforms. The public will be able to visit the virtual stands through a hyperlink that will be shared through social networks.

During the sessions, students from the Business Administration and Public Accounting major from all branches and venues throughout the country will present approximately 100 business ideas featuring innovative value proposition with a high sense of social responsibility.

The public will be able to visit the virtual stands, which will be classified in such categories as: Technology, Food and Beverages, Well-being and Lifestyle, and Social Responsibility. Attendees will also learn about sponsors and participate in free talks on various business topics, while enjoying raffles and other recreational activities.

The CABEI-supported fair reiterates the Bank's commitment to promoting the participation of young people in order to boost entrepreneurship and innovation. The latter is a relevant point in the framework of the Bank's 2020-2024 Institutional Strategy, specifically its Human Development and Social Inclusion Axis.
