CABEI, through its DINAMICA Initiative, joins efforts with CONIMIPYME to support more business projects.

Managua, August 15, 2017. - The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) and the Nicaraguan Council of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (CONIMIPYME) signed a Non-reimbursable Technical Cooperation Agreement (Donation) for US$49,100.0  to “Strengthen the Nicaraguan MSME Ecosystem” (CD-MIPYME).

This donation is granted under the Initiative for the Development of Business Ideas and Acceleration of Central American MSMEs (DINAMICA), which is promoted by CABEI with support from the Government of Germany through its KfW Development Bank and from the European Union’s Latin American Investment Facility (LAIF).

The donation seeks to strengthen the Nicaraguan MSME ecosystem through the institutionalization of a Business Development Center (CDE-MIPYME), which is more welcoming and supports the dynamic entrepreneurship and innovation of MSMEs organized in the CONIMIPYME chambers.

This center will develop methodologies on best business practices regarding product quality and compliance with export standards, which will contribute to a greater financial inclusion of the sector.
