Honduras receives new CABEI support: US$50 million to continue strengthening the country's economic and financial position

Tegucigalpa, August 29th, 2024 - In an effort to continue strengthening the economic and financial position of Honduras, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) has approved a new disbursement of US$50 million to the Banco Central de Honduras. This disbursement is part of the agreement established in April 2020 to help Honduras face global economic challenges with greater strength.

The renewal of the contract up until April 2025 reaffirms CABEI's commitment to accompany Honduras on its path to a more prosperous and stable future.
