CABEI and ECLAC organize the webinar "Transparency and Access to information: fundamental axis for climate change"

The activity will be held on September 29 at 11 A.M. (Central America) and will be attended by specialists in the field.

Tegucigalpa September 22, 2022. As part of Transparency and Access to Information Month, CABEI and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) are organizing a webinar aimed at positioning transparency and access to information as a key element in addressing climate change. The event will be open to the public with prior registration here.

The webinar will include specialists from ECLAC, the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), the World Bank and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. CABEI Executive Vice President Jaime Roberto Diaz will offer opening remarks and Maximiliano Alonso, CABEI's Titular Director for Argentina and Colombia and Chairman of the Access to Information Committee will moderate the event.  

Regarding this activity, CABEI Executive President Dante Mossi stated: "Cooperation between international institutions is essential to achieve the objectives of the 2030 Agenda. At CABEI, we cooperate with our partner countries in different initiatives to mitigate the effects of climate change through operations aimed at the region's public and private sectors.

CABEI Director for Argentina and Colombia, Maximiliano Alonso, stated, "Our commitment as a multilateral Bank is to promote Access to information to strengthen environmental democracy, international cooperation and multilateralism for a new model of sustainable development in the region.
