CABEI promotes innovation to offer effective and timely solutions to member countries

Tegucigalpa, May 3rd, 2023.- The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) closed the "Innovation and Intellectual Property Week," reinforcing its support for regional development by promoting competitiveness through innovation and adaptation to changes in the market, as well as to the needs of consumers in the region.

The event, which took place on April 26 and 28 at the multilateral's headquarters in Tegucigalpa, included a series of conferences with experts, academics and the general public, workshops, an innovation fair, an art exhibition, lectures and specialized round tables.

"The first edition of CABEI's Innovation and Intellectual Property Week was an excellent opportunity to strengthen our internal culture, reinforcing our purpose: The development and well-being of the Central American region through effective and timely solutions, are a great initiative to build a solid foundation that adds to the efforts to promote innovation," highlighted CABEI's Executive President, Dr. Dante Mossi.

CABEI, as a benchmark for development and economic integration in the region, promotes these initiatives and spaces for in-depth dialogue between different actors in the innovation ecosystem, in order to respond to the changing demands of the Central American region and the international environment.
