DINAMICA Initiative fosters MSME ecosystem

San José, June 7, 2019.- With the aim of helping Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to understand how to integrate improved business and financial management models, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) participated in the event denominated, "ASOPRO Positioning for Entrepreneurial Acceleration and Growth of Dynamic MSMEs in the San Ramón Canton."

During his speech and regarding commercial linkages, CABEI Country Manager for Costa Rica, Mauricio Chacón, commented that, "By means of the DINAMICA Initiative, CABEI will continue to support the Dynamic Business Development Centers, such as ASOPRO, in order to boost the capacities of Costa Rican MSMEs and seek greater competitiveness and economic growth in the country."

He added that, "CABEI's work in Financial Intermediation provides various resources, including special and innovative financial products to meet the needs of MSMEs."

Likewise, he explained that, “DINAMICA is a Tripartite Initiative of the European Union as part of its Latin American Investment Facility (LAIF), the Government of Germany through its KfW Development Bank and CABEI as executing agency."

The event, which was organized by the Asociación Pro-Fomento de Proyectos Productivos de la Sub Región de San Ramón (ASOPRO), brought together experts, companies and entrepreneurs with the aim of boosting the MSME sector. It is noteworthy that ASOPRO's vision involves business acceleration to support the enterprises and entrepreneurs of San Ramon.
