With CABEI's support, the X National Congress of FENACERD was held in the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo, November 14th, 2022 - In order to promote the development of free trade and the growth of companies in the region, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) supported the X Congress "Change, Sustainability and Consolidation of Trade and MSMEs" of the National Federation of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of the Dominican Republic (FENACERD) with a US$3,000 sponsorship.

The event, which was attended by the President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, addressed issues related to the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and the consolidation of trade within the framework of economic reactivation, topics that CABEI also promotes through various actions such as financing, technical advisory services and cooperation, according to CABEI Executive President, Dr. Dante Mossi.

"We at CABEI are pleased to support initiatives that enable companies to streamline their activities, increase their development and strengthen their capacities, as this will contribute to the generation of employment and the sustainability of their businesses," said Dr. Mossi.

During the activity, the new Board of Directors of FENACERD 2022-2024 was sworn in and the FENACERD 2022 declaration was presented, where transcendental issues for the promotion and participation of MSMEs in commerce were discussed.
