With the support of CABEI, progress is being made towards the modernization of the security and justice system in El Salvador

The project to construct, equip and modernize the central offices of the Attorney General's Office (FGR) is in its final stage and the building will be inaugurated in the coming months.
San Salvador, March 13th, 2025.- With the aim of improving customer service by providing convenient access to modern and well-equipped facilities, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) made the sixth disbursement for the project to strengthen and modernize the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) for an amount of US$11.5 million, which is part of the total amount of US$70.2 million.
With the construction of this new building, the FGR will be able to centralize its activities and operations, not only improving the service to users, but also reducing rental costs, optimizing operation timings, introducing technology, and standardizing the different dependencies of the security and justice sector.
Through this project, CABEI reaffirms its commitment to improving people's quality of life, promoting the progress of our member countries towards a state of inclusive and sustainable social development.
