After having received the report of Dr. Mossi's admission to Plaza de la Salud Hospital in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on December 15, 2020 and the reports of his positive evolution of his health status on December 21, 24, 30 and 31, 2020, the different departments that provide assistance to Dr. Mossi, due to his stability and improvement from the infectious point of view, considered his discharge to continue his management on an outpatient basis.

Having spent about a week with outpatient treatment in Santo Domingo and having passed the COVID 19, on December 7, 2020, Dr. Mossi has moved to the United States of America where he will be in the care and attention of his family and will receive the checkup of his health status, from his personal doctor.

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration takes this opportunity to thank Dr. Mossi for all the support he has received from its Board of Directors and each of its members, from the Government and the Director and staff of the Dominican Republic, from the members of its Senior Management, from its Management Team and from all the officials who, from each of their positions, have contributed to ensuring that the Executive President has received all the medical care and support required for his treatment and recovery.

Likewise, it is grateful for all the messages that have been received from different Presidents of the Republic of our partner countries, from the Governors, from former Presidents of the CABEI; from work colleagues, retirees, friends of the media and even people that we have not yet had the pleasure of meeting personally, to all of them many thanks and our appreciation.

CABEI's Executive President, Dr. Dante Mossi, will be at rest for some time and will soon be returning to Tegucigalpa, Honduras to take up his duties and continue with CABEI's entire work agenda in its mission to complement the efforts of its partner countries to mitigate the impacts of the COVID 19 and deepen the economic and social development of the region.
