The multilateral becomes the first international financial organization to make available to the public a consultation tool on this subject.

Tegucigalpa, September 29, 2021.- As of this Monday, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) makes available to the public a series of compliance indicators on its Information Access Policy (PAI) and becomes the first international financial institution to provide access to these trends, in real time and in a comprehensive manner, in order to generate greater transparency.

In this space the Bank presents the main trends related to the classification of public information and the processing of information requests, including areas of interest, origin, categorization, and status, providing greater proactivity and predictability on the disclosure of information.

CABEI Executive President, Dr. Dante Mossi, emphasized: "With the implementation of this type of initiative, we seek to consolidate our commitment to transparency in the exercise of our activities and strengthen governance and accountability. At the same time, we hope to foster trust, promote the relationship with our stakeholders, generate greater openness and make CABEI a pioneer in this area".

Through the tool, citizens will also be able to learn about CABEI's average response rate to their requests for information. At the end of the year, the Bank will publish an annual report on the implementation of the Policy, which will include the final and official statistical data produced as a result of these indicators.
