Celebrate gathering with winners of CABEI SOLIDARIOS Microenterprise Awards 2024

Santo Domingo, February 5, 2025.- The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) and SOLIDARIOS, Council of American Development Foundations, held a special gathering with the winners of the CABEI SOLIDARIOS Microenterprise Awards 2024, a space for recognition and celebration of the effort and resilience of Dominican microentrepreneurs.
The event was attended by the CABEI director for the Dominican Republic, Hostos Rizik, and representatives of Solidarios and the Dominican Microfinance Network (REDOMIF), and they shared their experiences with the award winners and emphasized the positive impact of microenterprise on the economic and social development of the country.
During the activity, SOLIDARIOS recognized the commitment and support of the director Hostos Rizik, highlighting his fundamental role in the consolidation of these awards, which have reached their fourth edition promoting the growth of entrepreneurs and small businesses in the Dominican Republic.
These awards reflect our commitment to inclusive and sustainable development. By supporting microenterprises, we promote job creation and improve the quality of life for thousands of families, stated Hostos Rizik, thanking CABEI for the recognition and reaffirming its commitment to the sector.
SOLIDARIOS highlighted the impact of these awards, which have been valued locally and internationally for the positioning they give to the winning entrepreneurs, as well as the growth through the counseling and training they receive and the consolidation of their equity through the metallic prize.
The CABEI SOLIDARIOS Microenterprise Awards are part of CABEI's initiatives in favor of financial inclusion and entrepreneurship, annually recognizing entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence, innovation, and commitment towards sustainable development.
