CABEI financial solutions for the Private Sector are presented at the Apparel Sourcing Show in Guatemala


Guatemala City, May 22, 2024.- To promote new businesses and commercial alliances at the regional level, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) supported the 31st edition of the Apparel Sourcing Show, the only regional fair that brings together the actors in the supply chain of the clothing and textile industry, and which took place in the capital city from May 21 to 23.

At the event, CABEI participated in the presentation “Access to Financing: from Commitment to Compliance” and presented the financial solutions available to support the implementation of sustainable projects in Guatemala and the region, the mechanisms for access to financing, and the potential impacts that are sought to be achieved with this type of operations.

For 31 years, the Show has been established as a flagship event of the industry that brings together more than 4,000 participants from 25 countries and, through more than 170 stands, exhibits providers of services and accessories, textiles, supplies and machinery, complemented by educational workshops on industrial processes, printing and sublimation techniques, and logistics solutions, among other topics.

At Apparel, international speakers shared strategic topics such as global trends in sustainability, challenges and opportunities for the sector, ESG criteria of the industry in the social dimensions and corporate governance, and the evolution in industry supply, its perspectives, and priorities.
