Central American Bank for Economic Integration Files Suit Against Former Executive President Dante Mossi in U.S. Federal Court

DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (September 5, 2024) – The Central American Bank for Economic Integration ("CABEI"), as part of its deep commitment to the highest standards of integrity and ethics, has today filed a civil lawsuit against its former Executive President, Dante Mossi in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. CABEI brings claims against Mr. Mossi for violations of the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (“RICO”), breach of fiduciary duty, market manipulation, tortious interference, and breach of contract.
As set forth in the Complaint, the lawsuit seeks redress for Mr. Mossi’s unlawful scheme in violation of RICO, his many violations of his agreements with CABEI and CABEI’s policies.
CABEI is confident in the merits of its claims and takes this action to protect the interests of the institution.
