CABEI participates in Panama's most important multi-sector trade event

This multisectoral trade exhibition was attended by more than 600 companies from 30 countries.

Panama City, March 24th, 2022. – The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) participated in the thirty-eighth version of EXPOCOMER and EXPOLOGÍSTICA, organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP) in Panama City, Panama, with the purpose of exchanging best practices in international economics and business opportunities.

Within the event's framework, CABEI's Senior Economist, Fanny Vargas, spoke on the topic "Central America: 2020-2021 Economic Balance and Perspectives", where she commented on the economic and social impact of the current COVID-19 crisis in the region and possible actions to mitigate the negative effects derived from the pandemic.

CABEI's Executive President, Dr. Dante Mossi, stated that "this type of event allows the sharing of experiences and best practices in development banking in order to establish relationships of trust, as well as to promote the economic reactivation of the countries."
