CABEI approves financing to strengthen food security in Argentina

Tegucigalpa, September 24, 2024.- The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) has approved US$230 million in financing to strengthen food security in Argentina through the Food Security Support Program.

This program will benefit more than 4.5 million Argentinians, including families with children, pregnant women, and people with disabilities, improving their access to nutritious food and promoting local production.

Developed in close collaboration with the Government of Argentina, this program represents a milestone in the joint commitment to guarantee food security and improve the living conditions of the Argentinian people
