Managua, February 14, 2022.- As a reflection of its continued support for the benefit of vulnerable populations, and as part of its social Responsibility, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) made a donation of US$5,000.00 to the Nicaraguan Association of Parents of Diabetic Children and Youth (APNJDN).

Through this solidarity support, a total of 50 children and young people with diabetes will be able to improve their quality of life with the delivery of a periodic replenishment kit that will allow them to monitor their blood glucose levels.

"Since 2017, we have joined this effort to support children and young people suffering from this disease in Nicaragua and we are pleased to do our bit to support them in their well-being," emphasized CABEI Executive President Dr. Dante Mossi.

In the last five years CABEI in solidarity with the Association of Parents of Diabetic Children and Youth of Nicaragua has donated the sum of US$22,000.00, support recognized by the president of the APNJDN, Mrs. Aura Cuadra, who said: "we are very grateful for the contribution you have made for these children and youth, because we know it will be of great help to improve their quality of life and we are happy for all the love, humanism and affection you have for our children".

This initiative is part of CABEI's Environmental and Social Policy, which seeks to strengthen its commitment and that of its collaborators to the environment and the communities in which it operates through the Corporate Environmental and Social Responsibility System (SASC).
