87,500 Dollars Awarded to Promote Talent and Innovation in Entrepreneurs

CABEI and the Social and Technological Innovation Incubator INSERT-YAWAL signed an agreement to support 7 innovative Salvadoran MSMEs.

San Salvador, July 20, 2018. With the purpose of promoting the access of Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) to new markets, innovation in the supply of products and the diversification of their commercialization channels, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration, as the executing entity of the DINAMICA Initiative, signed today a non-reimbursable technical assistance agreement with INSERT-YAWAL for US $87,500.00.

The project entitled "Non-Reimbursable Technical Cooperation for the Strengthening of the Technical Capacities of 7 Innovative MSMEs Incubated by INSERT", which aims to provide entrepreneurs and dynamic companies in early stages with skills, tools and capacities through specialized technical assistance to make adjustments in their business models and, consequently, improve the production of products and the provision of services, as well as the entry into new markets and the increase of their productivity.

This technical assistance granted to INSERT-YAWAL is supported by the European Union, the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, and CABEI through the DINAMICA Initiative, a financial program for entrepreneurs who are committed to innovation in the region.

The agreement was signed by the Director of El Salvador for CABEI, Mr. Guillermo Funes, and the founders of INSERT, Ulises Gómez and Patricia Tejero.  The representatives of the European Union, the German Government, the Regional Centre for the Promotion of MSMEs (CENPROMYPE), the National Commission for Micro and Small Enterprises (CONAMYPE) of the Ministry of Economy of El Salvador, and the Regional Management of El Salvador participated as witnesses of honour.
