Increasing the Use of Natural Gas as a Fuel for Energy Transition in the Region
CABEI is committed to supporting and promoting the region's energy sector in order to improve economic and social conditions and encourage the transformation of the regional energy matrix towards cleaner and more environmentally friendly energies, taking maximum advantage of available energy resources in a cost-effective manner.
This support is given within the framework of the SICA countries' sustainable development objectives, their national development and economic reactivation plans, their nationally determined contribution agreements derived from the Paris Agreement, and their ambitious and feasible energy transition plans, aimed at providing energy for all, under accessible and equal conditions.
