It is a priority for CABEI to offer financial solutions to initiatives aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and innovation.

Tegucigalpa, July 22, 2019.- In order to promote innovation and the development of new enterprises based on the use of technology, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) sponsored the Honduras Digital Challenge (HDC).

CABEI participated as a sponsor in the event's third edition, since it has a number of initiatives that support entrepreneurship, including the Initiative for the Development of Business Ideas and Acceleration of Central American MSMEs (DINAMICA).

DINAMICA facilitates financing to new, young or innovative MSMEs with a maximum of up to 100 employees and maximum financing of US$1,000,000. Since its implementation in 2016 through 2018, it has made disbursements amounting to US$33,239,347.91, generating 11,867 jobs.

HDC, which is an initiative organized by private enterprises and international institutions, brings together local and regional entrepreneurial communities to participate in the creation of new technology-based products/services and generation of companies that market such products/services to end users.
