As a result of the economic crisis caused by the pandemic, agricultural and agroindustrial enterprises in rural Argentina were economically and financially affected.
CABEI and the Argentine government are promoting this US$ 50 million program to mitigate the impacts generated by Covid-19.
The main lines of action of the Program include:
- Support for rebuilding the sustainability of agrifood sector initiatives, focusing on fixed, working, human and social capital.
- Promoting the comprehensive and accelerated incorporation of technology to reduce the gaps that affect the development and sustainability of initiatives, enterprises or companies.
Generation of new initiatives and ventures by young people, promoting gender equity. The aim is to develop productive, transformative and service initiatives that generate employment or self-employment in rural or semi-rural areas and contribute to the food security of the population in an environmentally friendly manner.

The executing agency for this program is the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries through the General Directorate of Sectoral and Special Programs and Projects. Interested parties may participate in calls for the presentation of projects that consider aspects related to their viability and economic-financial, technical and environmental sustainability.
