MSMEs' Digital Transformation

The program provides a loan to the Argentine Ministry of Development to finance technological infrastructure for the productive sector of small and medium-sized local companies, in addition to training workers in the sector to achieve a 4.0 production model.

The program's objectives are

  • Develop the technological infrastructure for the digital transformation of the productive sector and in particular of MSMEs.
  • Train entrepreneurs and workers for the transition to a 4.0 production model.
  • Finance the productive transformation processes for a pilot group of companies to access a new productive platform compatible with 4.0 production.

The priority sectors will be gas and oil; medical and hospital supplies and equipment; the automotive sector; food; and agricultural machinery. Financing will be provided through the Ministry of Productive Development.

 

Work areas

Technological Infrastructure for Digital Transformation. The incorporation of technologies, equipment and software for the digital transformation process of companies will be financed.

Training of human capital in 4.0 skills. Intensive and massive process of human capital training to prepare entrepreneurs and workers for the transition to a 4.0 production model. It also contemplates the financing of awareness-raising activities to mobilize the demand of entrepreneurs and workers for this type of training activities.

Financing for digital transformation. Creation of preferential credit lines to help Argentine industry to implement the productive transformation processes that will enable them to access a new productive platform compatible with 4.0 production.

Model systematization and transfer. Generate an intervention model that allows for replication and transfer to other regions and countries.
