Program’s General Objective

Strengthen the business ecosystem for MSMEs, especially for new, young and/or innovative MSMEs, in addition to reinforcing the financial sector in order to promote adequate access to financial services for these MSMEs at a regional level.

Beneficiary Countries

Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama.

Participating Financial Institutions

Intermediary Financial Institutions (IFIs) that comply with the eligibility requirements established by CABEI may participate pursuant to current norms.

Benefits for Financial Institutions

IFIs will have an appropriate source of funding to attend the financing needs of new, young and innovative enterprises. 

Final Beneficiary of the Resources

Beneficiaries may include new, young or innovative micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and entrepreneurs who wish to develop or improve their productivity and competitiveness levels.

Benefits for the Final Beneficiary

Young, new and innovative enterprises will have the opportunity to access adequate financial products, which will enable them to evolve within a context of dynamic entrepreneurship, developing their full growth potential, acquiring the necessary knowledge and implementing technologies that foster greater competitiveness and productivity.

Currency of CABEI Disbursements (loans)

Loans are granted in US dollars, pursuant to available resources at CABEI.

Interest Rate

The interest rate applicable to the intermediary is established in accordance with current CABEI norms and is reviewed every three months or earlier if necessary.

The DINAMICA Initiative is a tripartite initiative executed by CABEI with support from the German KfW Development Bank and the European Union, through its Latin American Investment Facility (LAIF).

In order to access financing from CABEI’s special programs, an IFI may request the opening of a Global Credit Line (GCL) with CABEI.
