Public consultation: Engagement Plan for the Access to Information Policy (AIP)

CABEI invites you to participate in its public consultation to share suggestions that seek to strengthen the Access to Information Policy’s (AIP) Engagement Plan

This Engagement Plan was developed to maximize the impact of the AIP, identify public needs, and promote access to information through citizen outreach, exchange of knowledge and best practices, and create opportunities for dialogue. It is part of the commitments established in the new PAI, effective since July 2025.

In this context, we are launching a public consultation aimed at strengthening this Plan. The objectives of this consultation are:

  1. To ensure that the Engagement Plan for the AIP is inclusive and reflects the diverse needs and expectations of the general public, including national and international institutions, non-governmental organizations, academia, among others.
  2. To reinforce the institutional commitment to openness, transparency, and accountability, thereby strengthening public trust in the Bank and consolidating its leadership in these areas.
  3. To identify challenges, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in order to develop an efficient, progressive plan that aligns with the demands and expectations of external stakeholders.
  4. To gather innovative ideas and approaches that enrich engagement actions and strategies, fostering creative and effective solutions to promote access to information.
